Austin Anthony
Director
Austin has over 12 years of experience across neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiorespiratory care. Inspired by a deep curiosity about how the body works and moves, he has worked across private practice, hospitals, and community aged care, and holds GLA:D certification.
With a special interest in pain science, Austin now focuses on supporting the Evolve Neurological Physiotherapy team through leadership, mentoring, and clinical guidance in his role as Co-Director.
A father of three, he enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and continually learning about the natural world.

Leroy Haines
Director
Leroy has over 11 years of experience in physiotherapy, spanning private practice, hospitals, occupational health, and community care.
He holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and a Master of Physiotherapy, with his own ACL injury sparking his interest in the profession. Now focused on the strategic and operational side of the business, Leroy supports the Evolve Neurological Physiotherapy team through leadership, team development, and mentoring.
Outside of work, he is a father of three and an avid cricket fan.

Claire Plapp
Lead Physiotherapist
Claire graduated as a Physiotherapist in Birmingham, UK in 1993. Claire’s passion for working with neurological conditions and disability had already been established as a student and Claire has now been working in this field for 30+ years.
Throughout her career Claire has worked in a variety of healthcare settings from acute neurology to rehabilitation units and community based care. Claire was based at Geelong Private Hospital for 10 years where she set up and managed the 'Falls and Balance Program' and ‘MS Wellness Program’. The highly regarded and innovative ‘MS Wellness Program’ was the Victorian and Tasmanian finalist in the Healthscope Star Awards in 2017.
Claire launched her private practice in Geelong in 2005 and has built an exceptional reputation within the community and amongst local GPs, Specialists and other allied health professionals. Claire has been working with NDIS participants since its launch in the Barwon Region in 2013 and has an interest in assisting clients with progressive neurological conditions.
Since establishing Evolve Neurological Physiotherapy, Claire now leads a team of equally passionate physiotherapist. As a team they feel very honoured to walk beside their inspiring clients and make a lasting difference to peoples lives.
Claire is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) as well as both the Neurological and Disability Special Interest Groups.
When not working, Claire can usually be found walking around the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula with her husband, teenagers and dog. Claire loves to be out in nature whenever she can; gardening, hiking, camping or sitting in the sun with a good book and a cup of tea!

Cameron Bramwell-Stevens
Physiotherapist
Cameron is a passionate Physiotherapist who graduated from Australian Catholic University (Ballarat) in 2021. He completed his Health Science degree from Deakin University and began his journey in neurological care as a Therapy Assistant with Evolve before stepping confidently into his physiotherapy role after attaining his degree in physiotherapy.
Cameron thrives on helping people with neurological conditions achieve their movement goals and bigger life aspirations. His approach combines traditional physiotherapy with fun, game-based activities to ensure therapy is both effective and engaging. He works across a variety of settings—from land (in the gym, home or community) to sea (in the hydrotherapy pool)!
Deeply connected to the Geelong region, Cameron lived there for decades before recently moving to Bacchus Marsh, where he now operates across both areas and surrounding regions. He is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and participates in the Neurology Special Interest Group.
Outside of work, Cameron is a Western Bulldogs supporter and enjoys exploring and immersing himself in new cultures and destinations. His travel adventures have taken him to Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Ellie Johnson
Physiotherapist
Ellie graduated as a physiotherapist in 2020 from the University of South Australia. She has experience across a variety of settings in both public and private health, including hospitals, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and in the community.
Ellie has a passion for all areas of neurological physiotherapy, having worked with clients with a range of neurological conditions. She has particular experience in progressive neurological conditions such as MND, Huntington’s Disease and other muscular dystrophies and movement disorders. She is passionate about working with all of her clients to achieve goals that are meaningful to them.
Ellie has an additional interest in wheelchair and seating prescription. Ellie is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and neurology group.
Outside of work, Ellie loves spending time at the beach, with her horses and snowboarding in winter.

Caitlin Vague
Physiotherapist
Caitlin is a physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006. With nearly two decades of experience, she has worked across a broad range of settings, including rehabilitation, acute care in both Victoria and Queensland, outpatients, aged care, women’s health, community health, and disability services.
For the past eight years, Caitlin has focused primarily on supporting individuals with disabilities through in-home visits. She is a compassionate and dedicated professional who works closely with clients, their families, carers, and support teams—particularly in the areas of neurological conditions, aged care, and disability. She provides assistance with exercise programs, equipment prescription, and overall functional support.
Caitlin also works part-time at St John of God Hospital in the maternity unit, bringing her expertise to women’s health. Outside of work, she enjoys coastal life on the Surf Coast, where she’s busy keeping up with her three energetic kids.

Claudia Wedding
Physiotherapist
Claudia graduated from La Trobe University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy degree. During her final year of university, Claudia joined the Evolve Neurological Physiotherapy team as a Therapy Assistant where she helped to support her clients under the guidance of a Physiotherapist. After graduating, Claudia transitioned into her current role as a Physiotherapist with thanks to the ongoing support and expertise provided by her colleagues.
Helping individuals with neurological conditions and disabilities has always been a passion and interest of Claudia’s. She is dedicated towards helping her clients, ensuring that they have the best opportunity to succeed in their day to day life. She loves the opportunity to build meaningful and trusting relationships with her clients, while supporting them to develop the confidence to strive towards attaining their personal goals.
Claudia is currently undertaking a course in Clinical Pilates. She hopes this further education will help her clients to improve their mobility, flexibility, balance and stability through mindful and functional movement.
In her spare time, Claudia enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, catching up for coffees, going for walks along the river and watching the footy!

Alicia Pike
Physiotherapist
Alicia started working as a physiotherapist in 2018 and spent three years working across various parts of the public health system including community rehabilitation and hospital wards with a wide variety of clients. She started working in a neurological private practice in Melbourne in 2021 and then moved to Geelong with her husband in 2024.
Alicia is passionate about providing excellent patient-centred care to clients with neurological conditions and disabilities. She has a particular interest in conditions including Ataxia, Cerebral Palsy, Congenital Neurological Conditions, Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis.
Alicia is trained in Bobath therapy, pilates, aquatic physiotherapy and posture and seating assessments/wheelchair prescriptions, she loves working with clients to get the best possible outcomes from their treatment.
When not working Alicia enjoys trying to keep up with her toddler and spending time with her family and friends. She loves baking, swimming, Pilates and going to the beach on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula.

Lisa Dervish
Physiotherapist and Clinical Manager
Lisa began her physiotherapy career in Geelong after graduating from La Trobe University in 2013. As a new graduate, she developed her passion for neurological physiotherapy under the mentorship of Claire Plapp. After gaining further experience as an NHS Physiotherapist in the UK, Lisa joined the Evolve team in 2019.
Lisa has a special interest in the management of Parkinson’s disease and is LSVT BIG accredited, with additional training in Clinical Pilates and Aquatic Physiotherapy. She is passionate about helping clients set meaningful goals and supporting them to achieve real‐world outcomes, particularly through community-based physiotherapy.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys time at the beach with her toddler, practising Pilates, travelling, and cheering on the mighty Geelong Cats.

Louis Cato
Physiotherapist
Louis is a physiotherapist who graduated from Swinburne University of Technology in 2021 with a Master of Physiotherapy. He gained experience supporting people in the Geelong community with a wide range of conditions in community-based disability and musculoskeletal private practice, before following a passion for neurological conditions in 2023.
Louis combines these experiences to support clients to achieve the goals that are meaningful to them. He enjoys forming strong connections with clients and their supports, with the belief that each person is the expert in their own experience. Louis likes to keep things fun and engaging in his sessions with plenty of banter.
Outside of work, he enjoys running and getting into nature, and spending time with his family as a recently new father.

Jamiesen Moore
Therapy Assistant Team Leader
Jamiesen is currently in her fourth year of studies at Deakin University, studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science majoring in Exercise Physiology. Jamiesen aims to graduate from her Bachelor in October 2026 to continue her studies by completing a Master of Exercise Physiology.
Although Geelong has become home for Jamiesen over the past three years, she previously lived along the Murray River in north central Vic, she aims to continue to grow in the community by helping out wherever is needed. Jamiesen has experience working in Disability Behavioural Support Respite and in Education Support at a primary school. She has a strong passion for movement and supporting individuals to get the most out of their day, while also valuing the relationships and trust that is built with clients along the way.
Outside of work, Jamiesen enjoys spending time with her friends and family, but also loves cricket, reading and Pilates.
Mandipa Mazarire
Exercise Physiologist
Mandi has over 10 years of experience working as an exercise physiologist in private practice, rehab centres, hospitals, community care, disability services, in-home setting and gym spaces.
She holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and Exercise and a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology and is passionate about the whole person approach. She enjoys getting to know her clients from beyond the issue at hand and using that knowledge to improve quality of life. No person is just their condition/injury/issue. Her own experience with debilitating back pain inspired her desire to help others treat/manage the day-to-day body struggles.
She has worked with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological and mental health conditions. From sprains and breaks to chronic pain, MS to dementia, pre- and post-natal strength and conditioning, high falls risk prevention, Frederich’s ataxia, TBI’s and so much more. She is passionate about people and is happy to help where she can.
When not working, Mandi is a proud creative. She can be found, baking, sketching/painting, dancing or getting her hands dirty with her strong indoor house plant collection. She loves the great outdoors and will be not far from a body of water especially waterfalls.

Michelle Pollard
Practice Manager
Michelle is our dedicated practice manager, working for Evolve since April 2019. Michelle has 20 plus years of administration experience, starting in the finance industry before moving into the Allied Health Sector.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for streamlining processes, she ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She enjoys being part of such a professional group of practitioners who are dedicated to their patient's care.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, travel and Pilates.
